Dr. Julie S. Camp D.D.S.
Dr. Julie Camp is a native of Charleston, WV. She attended Marshall University and majored in Biology and minored in chemistry and psychology. Dr. Camp attended West Virginia University dental school and received a Doctor of Dental surgery degree. Dr. Camp met her husband in dental school . She enjoys cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Changing smiles and improving self-esteem is one of the main reasons Dr. Camp chose dentistry as a profession. She is a member of the American Dental Association and has served on the Board of Directors for First Steps . She is a member of the SC Dental Association. Dr. Camp has worked with Mobile Dental Care to serve underprivileged children. She was a member of the Lancaster Rotary Club and attends Lowcountry Community Church.
Dr. Camp practiced dentistry for 9 years in Lancaster, S.C. They relocated to Hilton Head Island permanently in 2006. They have been property owners on the island since 2000. Dr. Camp has three children ,Sydney, Scarlett and Kent. Dr. Camp's parents live in Savannah and her husbands parents live in Sun City Hilton Head. Dr. Camp enjoys tennis, golf, biking , snow skiing and spending time with her family.
George K Camp III, DDS, FADIA
Dr. George Camp is a Georgia native and received his Bachelor of Science at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. He then completed his dental training and residency at West Virginia University. Dr. Camp then began his practice in south Charlotte. After many years of vacationing in Hilton Head, the family decided to relocate and was fortunate to find a partner in Dr. Mike Eibling.
Dr Camp is married to Dr Julie Camp and they have three children. Sydney, Scarlett and Kent attend Hilton Head Christian Academy. As a family they enjoy sports and travel. They have lived full-time in Hilton Head Plantation since 2006 and enjoy the convenience of living so close to home and the office.
Dr Camp's primary interest is in reconstructive and implants dentistry. In an effort to provide the best care to his patients, Dr Camp has completed a mini-residency in implant dentistry affiliated with the University of Miami Oral Surgery Department. This led to his attaining fellowship status in the American Dental Implant Association. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Coastal District Dental Society. Dr Camp has attended advanced education in cosmetics, pharmacology and sedation and total reconstruction of complex cases. He has served as treasurer and president of his regional dental society.
Dr Camp is a supporter of Volunteers in Medicine on the island and offers his services pro bono to needy children in the area. He also is the managing partner of Mobile Dental Care which provides dental care to needy Charleston County students in a school based setting.
D. Michael Eibling, DDS
Dr Eibling was born in Toledo, Ohio, and after growing up in Columbus, Mike attended Duke University and graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Psychology. After serving in the US Army for two years as an officer and Medical Subjects Instructor in anatomy and physiology, he entered The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and graduated in 1975.
After graduation, Dr Eibling started a general practice in Ashland, Ohio. In 1986, he sold his practice and relocated to Hilton Head Island where he started a new private practice. Since graduation, he has taken numerous continuing education courses in all areas of dentistry and continues the tradition of a general practice today. In addition to private practice, Dr Eibling served for eleven years in The US Army Reserves as a dentist.
Dr Eibling is married to Linda and they have three grown children and three grandchildren. He is an avid snow skier and boater and plays golf as well. He serves the community as a Board Member of The Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra and a member of the Hilton Head Rotary Club. After thirty five years of practice, Mike looks forward to continuing to practice dentistry on Hilton Head for many years to come.
